_కరోనా వైరస్‌ కారణంగా అర్ధాంతరంగా నిలిచిపోయిన ఐపీఎల్‌ 14వ సీజన్‌లోని మిగిలిన మ్యాచ్‌లను సెప్టెంబర్‌-అక్టోబర్‌లో యూఏఈలో నిర్వహించాలని బీసీసీఐ నిర్ణయించింది. ఈ మేరకు తాజాగా ఓ ప్రకటన విడుదల చేసింది. శనివారం బీసీసీఐ అధ్యక్షుడు సౌరభ్‌ గంగూలీ నేతృత్వంలో జరిగిన వర్చువల్‌ జనరల్‌ మీటింగ్‌లో ఏకగ్రీవంగా ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. మరోవైపు ఈ ఏడాది చివర్లో భారత్‌లో నిర్వహించాల్సిన టీ20 ప్రపంచకప్‌ టోర్నీపై నిర్ణయం తీసుకునేందుకు ఐసీసీని మరో నెల రోజుల గడువు కోరనున్నట్లు బీసీసీఐ తెలిపింది._

_భారత్‌లో ప్రస్తుతం కరోనా కేసులు తగ్గుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో అక్టోబర్‌-నవంబర్‌లో ఆ మెగా ఈవెంట్‌ను ఇక్కడే నిర్వహించాలని భారత క్రికెట్‌ బోర్డు భావిస్తోంది. ఈ క్రమంలోనే ఆ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ఈ సమావేశంలో కేవలం ఐపీఎల్‌ నిర్వహణపైనే చర్చించినట్లు సమాచారం. ఐపీఎల్‌ 14వ సీజన్‌లో ఇప్పటికే 29 మ్యాచ్‌లు పూర్తికాగా ఇంకా 31 మ్యాచ్‌లు జరగాల్సి ఉంది. వాటిని సెప్టెంబర్‌ 18 లేదా 19న ప్రారంభించి అక్టోబర్‌ 9 లేదా 10వ తేదీన ఫైనల్‌తో ముగించాలనే ఆలోచనతో బీసీసీఐ అడుగులు వేస్తోంది. ఇందుకు సంబంధించి త్వరలోనే పూర్తి షెడ్యూల్‌ విడుదల చేసే అవకాశం ఉంది. గతేడాది సైతం సెప్టెంబర్‌లోనే యూఏఈలో ఐపీఎల్‌ 13వ సీజన్‌ నిర్వహించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే._
